Before running either of the updater utilities below, the following criteria must be met:
The printer must be connected
The printer must be powered on
There should be a roll of paper in the printer
The printer should be ready and show no errors
Important: Once the firmware update process has started, do NOT power down the printer or PC until the utility has completed.
The Generic GUI driven updater is suitable for standalone Windows based PCs. This Generic updater is a user navigated utility in which user needs to start and navigate through the firmware update process.
The RewriteT88VFirmAPD updater is suited for use by System Administrators. This utility is not intended to be used for standalone Windows based PCs.
